Marily Santoro studied with Liliana Marzano and graduated from the F. Cilea Conservatory in Reggio Calabria. He is currently studying with the soprano Raina Kabaivanska in Modena.
Winner of the absolute First Prize of the third International Competition “Spiros Argiris” City of Sarzana, she is Finalist of the XLV International Competition Toti dal Monte and then Finalist at the 57th Edition of the Competition Verdian Voices of Busseto.
Marily debuted very young in the role of Violetta in “La Traviata” by Giuseppe Verdi at the Teatro C. Goldoni of Livorno in 2015.
In 2017 she debuts in the role of “Norma” at the Sofia Ballet Opera. She resumed the role of Norma for the Reghion Opera Music Festival at the Francesco Cilea Municipal Theater in Reggio Calabria.
In 2018 she was the star of many other important debuts, the first of all in Leonora in “Il Trovatore” with great public and critical acclaim at the Giuseppe Verdi Theater in Trieste, and then in the role of Monica in “Medium” by G. Carlo Menotti at the Municipal Theater Luciano Pavarotti of Modena and then again at the “Festival dei due mondi” of Spoleto.
Among his upcoming commitments in 2019 she will hold a Tour in China collaborating with the Puccini Festival Orchestra of Torre del Lago conducted by Maestro Alberto Veronesi. Once again she will play Leonora in “Il Trovatore” by Giuseppe Verdi at the Opera Sofia Ballet.
