Marily Santoro studied with Liliana Marzano and graduated from the F. Cilea Conservatory in Reggio Calabria.
She is currently studying with the soprano Raina Kabaivanska at the Institute Vecchi Tonelli in Modena.
Winner of the First Prize of the third “Santa Gianna Beretta Molla International Competition”, Second Prize 19th edition of the “Spiros Argiris” International Competition City of Sarzana and the First Prize “Pienza Competition” in October 2020. Finalist of the XLV International Competition Toti dal Monte and subsequently Finalist at the 57th Edition of the Verdi Vocal Competition of Busseto.
In 2015 she debuted the role of Violetta in “La Traviata” by G. Verdi at the Theater C. Goldoni in Livorno. From there then follow many important debuts. In 2017 she debuted the role of Title “Norma” at the Opera Sofia Ballet. In 2018 she was the protagonist of many important debuts, the first of all in Leonora in “Il Trovatore” with great acclaim from the public and critics at the Theater G.Verdi in Trieste and then in the role of Monica in the “Medium” of G. Carlo Menotti at the Teatro Comunale Luciano Pavarotti of Modena and subsequently at the Festival dei due mondi di Spoleto in July 2018. In novembre 2018 she is a again “Norma” al the Theater F.Cilea of Reggio Calabria.
In 2019 she held a Tour in China in collaboration with the Puccini Festival Orchestra of Torre del Lago conducted by Maestro Alberto Veronesi. In February she debut 9th simphony by L. Van Beethoven with the Conductor Marco Alibrando at the Theater Francesco Cilea of Reggio Calabria and In March she is again Leonora in “Il Trovatore” by G. Verdi at the Sofia Opera Ballet.
In september sings Messa da Requiem by Ruggero Leoncavallo and make The debut in october 2019 ore the role of Countess in “The Marriage of Figaro” in the Theater Carlo Goldoni of Livorno.
Next engagment will be “Leonora” in Trovatore at Sofia Opera Ballet and Countess in “The Marriage of Figaro” at The Theatre of Pisa and Lucca.
She has collaborated with the following conductors: Andrea Battistoni, Francesco Pasqualetti, Nicola Paskoswski, Grigor Palikarov, Nayden Todorov, Jacopo Sipari da Pescasseroli, Janon Acs, Marco Alibrando.
